Here are some of the tricks that would help you design a small space without overwhelming the look of your house.

It is actually not necessary to paint your walls white just to create an illusion that the space is big. You can choose pastel colors or any light colors will do.

Vertical stripes can be used on wallpapers and even in your ceiling as well. Like the light colored walls, it can also make your small house look spacious.
