Kitchen is one of the parts of the house where people usually gather to talk or simply bond. However, giving it a new design and addin flair like modern designs today can ber very costly.
To recreate the current design of your kitchen, you can paint your cabinet in a different shade. Some prefer to use the dark shades especially if they have a cabinet made from wood. But for those who would like to have a country style kitchen, a white cabinet is preferred.
Changing the faucet and the sink can actually give your kitchen a whole new aura. This may be expensive but it still costs less if you decide to renovate the whole kitchen instead.
A luxurious-looking kitchen is just a few dollars away if you know how to reinvent it with style for a lesser price.

Many people today see the bathroom as a place in the house where you could not only clean yourself but have a private and undistubred time as well. To have a great R&R without leaving the comfort of your own home (or in this case your bathroom), here are some of the things that you can do aside from imagining that you are in Meditterenean.
Choose a theme. Some of the most common bathroom themes today are sea-inspired. But there are also some bathrooms that are not just inspired by the tropics but also Asian-inspired as well (Chinese bamboo’s, Japanese designs, the Yin and the Yang, etc).
Choose the right color. The color of your bathroom will of course depend on the theme that you chose.
Make sure that you have fluffy towels.
Accessorize your bathroom with non-bathroom accessories. Use flowers, curtains, and alike to create a homey bathroom.
Make use of dim lights to have a relaxing ambiance.
This would help you feel relaxed and pampered afterwards.

Aside from the living room, the bedroom is one of the places in your house where you can simply relax and get a break away from the busy world. But if you don’t have well-decorated bedroom, would you still love to hang out in this room?
When creating your perfect lair, you must first consider different factors that would affect the appearance of your bedroom.
The Space – before putting any furniture or decoration, you must consider how big or how small your room is.
The Furniture – make sure that the furniture that you will choose for your bedroom is not too big for your bedroom. Remember that you still have to put other furnishings as well like the cabinet, table, and other places where it can serve as a storage and a decoration at the same time.
The Window – think of the amount of light that passes through your window. If you think that your window is facing the sun when it is at its peak, then blinds or thick curtains can compliment your windows.

Every month, new designs come up and you are getting house-envy wishing that you can buy new items or a new house instead!
You actually don’t have to spend tons of dollars just to redesign your home every now and then. The trick is to put a few decorations at a time so that you and your guests will feel that there is a variety of house design.
If you would like to have a cheap way of redesigning your house then a sketch would be a great help. In this way, you can have a better view of what the room will look like after taking off all the clutter and putting new designs.
Books can also be a great room design as well. Make sure that you put it in small groups then accentuate it with a vase, a candle holder, or any other small decorations in the house.
As for your collections, too much of it can overwhelm your house. So what you should do is to take only a few pieces at a time then rotate it with the other collections every month.
Changing the lights, bulbs, or lamps would require you to buy a new one. When buying for a lighting fixture, why not opt for a flexible lighting system so you could change the direction of the light whenever you wish. Or opt for a 3-way lightings which allow you to use different light intensities for a price of one!

There are so many things that you have to keep in mind before you finally decide which design is right for your house. Considering these factors would not only help you in making a stylish house but a house that is very functional at the same time. Some of these essential factors include:
- The number of people who will live at the house.
- The number of people who will frequently visit the house.
- The monthly or yearly income of the family members.
- Special family members such as pets
- Special interests such as antiques, baseball collection, etc
You must also think ahead. Analyze if your home will always be the party venue of the family and would it be able to accommodate large number of visitors if you want this to be a home/ party hub

If you think that your house is in dire need of change, you don’t have to renovate all parts of it. All you need are few tools that could help you wreck your roof and ceiling. That’s right! An open house can give your old house a touch of modern architecture. This is ideal on place such as your living room, your dining room, or any area in your house where you can have a great view of the stars and the sky. Just install a couple of glass panels to turn that contemporary house into a new space.

But aside from the roof, glass panels can also be great as your wall especially if you have an extra space at your backyard so you can get a view of the pool or the small garden that you have.

At the recent Home and Garden Show held in Vancouver, the prefabricated house that is Earth-friendly became the center of the attention of most visitors. They never thought that a house built for style and comfort can be eco-friendly at the same time. Fabulous and green, the modular house took advantage of the recycled materials, reclaimed wood, and incorporated features that can sustain the house without using much of the alternative energy.
The EcoFabulous House have smart wiring and a system that prevents somebody from using the water excessively. Aside from that, the windows as well as the appliances used in this stylish prefab are enery-efficient as well. Perfect for a country home the EcoFabulous’ facade is mainly made out of cedar, which gives the house a warm and inviting appeal.

There is no question about it. This is the dream house of the Italians and the haven that all tech savvy would love to have. The contemporary home created by Duilio Damilano is a great mixture of both. Although the house in general is not far from the typical houses in Italy, the high-tech features of the home is what separates it from the rest. Would you believe that the whole house is automated? Starting from the door to the pool and other parts of this shelter as well? You don’t have to search for the right switch just to make use of the house’s facilities.
Other than concrete, this Dream House is made up mostly of large panelled glass. You can have a great view of the people swimming at the nearby pool if you are at the dining area and living room. At night, get a clear view of the sky from these areas of the house as well.
Of course with an open house, they still want some privacy. But instead of concrete walls, they chose to have green walls instead made out of tall bushes and trees. Now that’s what you call Luxury living!

If you are visiting the Gold Coast of Australia, it’s impossible that you would not see the stunning house that has an all white and glass facade. Australians actually claim that this is so far, the most photographed house in the world. Whether the claim is true or not, you won’t have to ask why they called it so.

The house’s form is mostly out of vertical lines and its white walls and glass panels were highlighted by the natural sea backdrop. There are actually five bathrooms and four windows that have a spectacular view of the coast as well thanks to the huge glass windows. The house is simply light and homey. At the garage, where at least 6 cars can fit, you can also see the wine cellar and the fitness room of the house as well. The gourmet kitchen is located at the ground floor along with the the living room and the entertainment room.

This house is actually for sale for a whopping price of $2.3 million. But each and every penny is definitely worth it!
